Nationwide Delivery Information
All of Homeway Furniture's nationwide deliveries are delivered by Reliable Trucking Inc. and we specialize in white glove in home delivery and set up of fine furniture. Please take a moment to review our procedures on how we operate.
Once the furniture is received in our climate controlled facility a bill of lading will be processed and given to routing department. At which time the customer will be routed on the very next truck to their area. Once the customer has been scheduled they will then be called by one of our courteous representatives and given a specific day and three hour time frame at which to expect their delivery. If the customer is unable to be reached we will leave a very detailed message about the schedule and ask them to confirm within twenty-four hours. Once the customer is confirmed we will then start the staging process. Which means we will inspect furniture to make sure it is free of manufacture defects and transit related damages.
In the event a piece of furniture happens to suffer a defect it will be handled by our very skilled repair facility. Next, when our staging department has approved the furniture it will then be loaded on a truck for delivery. When the driver arrives at the customer’s home he will present himself and ask to see where exactly the furniture is to be set up. In the event the driver has a problem while making a delivery he will contact a representative of Homeway Furniture and receive instructions on how to rectify the problem. A detailed description of any problem must be noted on the bill of lading before the driver leaves. We here at Reliable Trucking Inc. take pride in what we do,
and we so very much look forward to delivery your new furniture to you. It is our hope that the delivery of your new furniture will go as smoothly as possible.

OUR DRIVERS WILL:
- Mount mirrors to dresser (if supports are purchased or included with order)
- Set up all beds and attach headboards to frames
- Secure chair seats to chairs if not already attached
- Install support brackets to hutches, chains tops, and bookcase bases
- Set up and secure table legs
- Knock down cardboard and packing material and place it neatly where the home owner desires
- Due to insurance regulations, our delivery personnel will be unable to move or connect any electronic equipment
- Temporarily level wall units, ent. Centers, chinas, etc. If the unit is on carpet, the driver will show the customer how to adjust the piece, as it might settle into the carpet and might need a slight adjustment in the future.
OUR DRIVERS WILL NOT:
- Install glass or wooden shelves
- Assemble extreme KD (knock down) furniture
- Set up any clocks
- Install swivel TV shelves
- Disassemble furniture that will not fit into a room. Drivers will call their dispatcher for
instructions
- Move furniture that is already in a room. The room will need to be cleared prior to the
drivers arrival
IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE:
If you receive a piece of furniture that has sustained damage, the driver will call his dispatcher for instructions. Our drivers carry furniture repair kits and have been trained to make minor repairs. We may ask the driver to make a small repair in your home. If this cannot be done to your satisfaction, we will bring the damaged piece back for repair or replacement if it cannot be repaired up to manufactures specifications. Reliable Trucking Inc. reserves the right to repair all damages and will not participate in any freight claims unless all freight charges have been paid.
DELIVERY OF LARGE OR HEAVY ITEMS:
The customer has the responsibility of knowing the size and weight of the furniture to insure that it will fit not only in the designated room, but also through hallways, doorways, stairwells, etc. If the delivery to your designated room involves potential
damage to your home, the delivery may be placed in alternative area. Our drivers are equipped with a wavier if you so wish to attempt the delivery knowing that it will be difficult. By signing the wavier it will release Reliable Trucking Inc. of any claims.
DELIVERY SCHEDULES:
We will attempt to schedule your delivery on a particular day within a two or three hour time frame. It is possible that problems such as, traffic, weather, etc. can delay the delivery. If this should happen, our driver will call you either before or
during the first hour of the time frame to discuss options.
IF THE DELIVERY CANNOT BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH NO FAULT OF RELIABLE TRUCKING INC., THE DELIVERY WILL BE SUBJECT TO A REDELIVERY CHARGE
